7-3 Beartooth and Chief Joseph Scenic Byways

On the way to the Beartooth we saw several heards of bison.
Approaching the Beartooth Mountains that we are traveling through today.

Half way up the Beartooth Pass. Anyone for a dip? We left our suits at the hotel. Darn...

View along the way. Still lots of snow and cold blowing wind in the mountains. So much snow we saw a snow plow. OK, maybe that's an exageration. But it was 6 feet deep in places.
A few twisties on the way down. Mike says real men don't need guardrails. I appreciate them the few places they had them.
After a stop in Red Lodge MT, we took the Chief Joseph scenic byway back through Yellowstone to our hotel.
Peace out.
